Welcome to my practice

I am an addictions and Employee Assistance specialist with over 30 years in the field

I am passionate about working in the Employee Assistance Field. My  experience includes critical incidences such as bank robberies, deaths  in the workplace and other EA related professional needs. I have helped  small companies develop EA services. I provide DOT qualified SAP assessments.

I have been an Addictions counselor since 1984

In this capacity my experience includes; Group work, Residential and  Intensive Outpatient settings. I have created Outpatient programs,  workshops and helped individuals embrace their sobriety.

I work closely with a psychiatrist who specializes in addictions.
I work with Adults 18 and older.

I am enthusiastic about working with First Responders and their family members

My goal is to help them learn coping tools, embrace their career and understand the impact it has on their family, their body and their brain.  I  offer specialized workshops for First Responders. These workshops are designed to help these courageous men and women offload the emotional baggage they carry from their career.

Insurances I accept in Network

Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Cigna

I am NOT a provider for Medicare, Tricare or AHCCCS

Addiction Counseling

My addictions services include Chemical, Process and Behavioral Addictions.
I help individuals who strive for emotional sobriety and peace of mind. We will work together to look at the underlying emotions and possible trauma that may hinder your commitment to working on your sobriety.
Process addictions include behaviors such as online compulsivity, gaming, and  behaviors that interfere with your activities of daily life.

Employee Assistance Services

SAP Evaluations, CISM, Onsite Inservice and Consultations

I am passionate about Employee Assistance Services and offer the full employee continuum of  care including Lunch n' Learn Series, Response to Critical Incidents, Conflict Management, and Sexual Harassment Trainings. I develop EA Programs for small companies offering a Fee-for-Service model.

First Responders

Substance Abuse Evaluations, Individual Counseling and Workshops

I have provided direct care to First Responders since 1988. I have developed trainings on Resiliency, Compassion Fatigue and Signs of Post Traumatic Stress. I also have a intensive workshop for First Responders.
My commitment to the First Responder community is to be the best I can be at listening, understanding and providing hope for those who are suffering in silence. There were 157 law enforcement suicides in the US in 2018- That's too many!
